GroupLink
The way to connect to a Life Group at Edgewood
What is GroupLink?
GroupLink is a quick and fun way to find a life group to participate in at Edgewood. Everyone coming to GroupLink has the same purpose – to find a group! (If you are already in a life group, it is not necessary to attend GroupLink).
When and where does GroupLink take place?
The first GroupLink of the year will take place on Thursday, September 11th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the large group room of the education wing right at Edgewood. Another GroupLink will take place in January.
What will happen at GroupLink?
We’ll start with some tasty appetizers in a relaxed atmosphere with lots of tables and chairs. Throughout the night you’ll be guided to mix and form into groups where you’ll get to know each other by answering questions. You’ll also learn about life groups at Edgewood. By the end of the night you will connect with others who are interested in starting to meet together as a group. We think you’ll be surprised how easy and natural it will be to form a group!
How do I sign up to participate?
For two to three weekends leading up to GroupLink there will be signup sheets in the bulletin. Simply fill in the sheet and place it inside the Friendship Register folder as it is passed. You can always bring or mail it in to the church office as well.
Do I need to bring anything with me to GroupLink?
Just bring your natural friendliness and an eagerness to join a group. You may want to check your calendar ahead of time to see what night(s) of the week work well for you to meet for Life Group.
What if I miss GroupLink but still want to join a group? Do I need to wait until the next GroupLink?
No. You can always contact Pastor Mike who will do his best to help you find a group that’s right for you.
