Weekend Ministries- Children's Ministries at Edgewood are called Greenhouse, where kids grow like crazy! Just like a greenhouse, we believe our children's programming provides the best environment for kids to grow in their faith. It consists of full-hour children's church classes for preschoolers through third graders, 4th and 5th graders dismiss themselves to their classroom as the pastor goes up to preach. A "Plug In" activity begins each service and peaks kids curiosity for what lesson is to follow. Each week, Large Group time is filled with a Gospel centered lesson, praise and worship, and prayer time. Small Groups gather kids of the same age together to dig deeper into God's word with age-specific "apply it to life" activies.
The Gospel Project- Starting in the fall of 2012, we will be moving to a new curriculum called The Gospel Project! We are excited to bring your children this Bible study that shows how Christ fits into the entire gospel story, pre-creation to eternity. And where each one of us fits into it, too! The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more!
They'll be saturated with the truth as they discover the biblical responses to questions such as:
•Is Jesus the only way to heaven?
•Who did Jesus say He is?
•What was unique about Jesus's birth, life, death, and Resurrection?
•How can I be saved?
•How can I share the good news of Jesus's life-changing power?
Christmas Program 2012- We will perform our Christmas program during our Dec. 15, 5:30 pm service.
Kingdom Chronicles VBS in Waupun June of 2013!
Lower the drawbridge! Open the gates! Get ready to charge into a time filled with kings, kingdoms and majestic castles!
As knights and fair maidens you will:
• Discover that we’re involved in a battle between two kingdoms—the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the Enemy;
• Understand how they can become citizens of God’s heavenly kingdom;
• Learn to prepare for battle by wearing the full armor of God daily;
• Be equipped to serve and obey our heavenly Commander—the King of kings;
• Determine to train their brains to know, memorize, and obey God’s Word!

Movin' Up Weekend- We have a special hour planned for our 5th graders one weekend of May. We will present them with a special gift as they “graduate” from Greenhouse into our Middle School Burst program. We will introduce the class to Pastor Jamie, Edgewood’s Youth Pastor. He will lead small group and also get them excited about all the great things happening when they head to BURST!
