Burst

Our junior high youth ministry (6th – 8th graders) meets Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:30.  We begin with some games and snacks and catching up with our friends (and friends are always welcome).  Then we move into a time of some relevant and engaging teaching.  We split into small groups to discuss how the Bible relates to our lives, then close with some announcements about what’s coming up.

HighLife

Our high school youth ministry (9th – 12th graders)meets Wednesday nights from 8:00 – 9:30.  We begin with some snacks and catching up with our friends (and friends are always welcome).  Sometimes we have a time of worship, sometimes we play a game, but we always have some relevant and engaging teaching.  We split into small groups to dig in and discuss how Jesus Christ wants to challenge and transform our lives, then close with some announcements about what’s coming up.

For Parents Only

The most significant influence on a student’s life is parents.  Not friends, not that ever-present “culture,” not coaches or youth leaders or teachers, but parents.  The youth ministries of Edgewood rejoice in this fact, and we seek to partner with you in the health and growth of your student’s spiritual life.

Here are a couple ways we hope to connect with you . . .

1. At Family Ministry Nights

We are very excited about our monthly Family Ministry Night.  It will be the first Wednesday of each month (October – April) from 6-7:30 p.m. and will take the place of BURST and High Life that night.  The night is designed for families of all ages to participate as families.  We’ll begin with a meal together, then have some creative teaching and fun.  Our hope is that every month you’ll go home equipped, inspired, and supported!

2. At . . . End of the Trail ???

As a parent, you always have an open door to connect with me.  Sometimes a quick e-mail or phone call can answer your question, other times it requires a conversation.  I am always buying at End of the Trail if you’d like to talk about ministry or your student or anything else.  We could meet in my office as well (yes, I have a coffee maker here).
