Did you know that you are being prayed for each Sunday by a team of Prayer Warriors? These faithful servants are praying for our pastors, the day’s message, the congregation, the ministries of ECC and anything else that the Holy Spirit leads them to lift up to God. At the present time, there are three people scheduled to pray each Sunday morning but this ministry is in need of more people who feel the call to serve in this ministry.
In a recent small group study, I read a statement by Bill Hybels, founder and pastor of Willow Creek Community Church, regarding the service of prayer which opened my eyes to that ministry. Bill stated that, “As years go by, I learn more and more that prayer is one of the truest tests of love. When someone is on their knees investing time in eternity praying on your behalf, they are offering one of the purest forms of service. As they plead and intercede on your behalf, they are lifting up one of the most unselfish acts of love a person could ever offer. Prayer is a radical act of service!”
Are you being called to serve as an ECC Prayer Warrior? Are you willing to serve radically?
