In Greenhouse, our desire is for Edgewood’s children to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, develop a relationship with Him, and grow in His likeness from the inside out. We want kids to know what it is like to worship fully, give more and to love all. It has been a privilege leading your children in their spiritual journey through Greenhouse.
Each week we have many faithful volunteers that lead Edgewood’s kids into a deeper understanding of God's word.
Not sure you are equipped to teach? Well, look at the story of John the Baptist from Matthew 3:1-6. Scripture make a point of pointing out John's peculiarities: he ate locusts, and he wore camel's hair. He called the multitudes a "brood of vipers" and called Herod out for his sinful ways. He preached boldly about the coming Savior. He may have been off-putting to some, yet people came in droves to hear him. Jesus called John the greatest of all the prophets. Which goes to show that God can, and will, use anybody He wishes to share His message!
So how about you? Are you an encourager, a good listener, love God and kids? God has given us all gifts, and when we use our gifts to serve and help others, we show them who God is. By serving, you will have an eternal impact!
