Leading a life group is a fun and rewarding way to serve at Edgewood. Life group leaders need to be actively growing in their own relationship with God and have a heart to help others grow as well. Good interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and a compassionate and teachable heart are important qualities for a life group leader. As a leader, you will select curriculum, prepare for your group time, facilitate discussions, shepherd group members, and participate in leader huddles consisting of training, problem solving, and celebration. Edgewood requires membership for its life group leaders as a doctrinal safeguard. Please talk with Pastor Mike if you are interested in leading a small group at Edgewood.
