Our Staff

Roger is our Senior Pastor and has a four word job description: To Preach, Pray, Lead and Love. He is responsible for overall church vision and sits on the board of elders, the leadership team of Edgewood.

Roger didn’t grow up in Wisconsin, but got here as soon as he could, coming to Edgewood in 1999. He has a B.S. from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana (where he met his sweetie – yay, Diane!), and received his Masters of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He previously served as Pastor of Single Adults on the staff of Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

He and Diane celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2022, and have three kids, Josh, Elisabeth and Annie. Roger loves to listen to audible books and walk on the boardwalk behind the Edgewood Waupun Campus.

Jamie Thompson serves as Executive Pastor at Edgewood.  His primary responsibilities include 1.) providing leadership to help Edgewood’s amazing staff and volunteers serve with a sense of purpose, community, and joy; 2.) overseeing strategic church-wide initiatives centered on our discipleship essentials of Gospel, Community, and Mission; and 3.) preaching and teaching the gospel in a variety of settings (pulpit, Life Groups, book clubs, one-on-ones).  Jamie thinks people are incredibly interesting and the gospel is profoundly beautiful, and he counts it a great joy to be a part of the Edgewood family!

Jamie grew up in Green Bay (Go Packers!) and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the UW (Go Badgers!). He received his M.Div. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his D.Min. at Denver Seminary. Jamie served as a youth pastor for 17 years before transitioning to his current role in 2016.  Jamie is passionate about nature as a great place for us to grow spiritually, is excited to equip moms and dads and help families grow in faith in Christ, and he loves helping people match their sense of giftedness with God’s call to ministry both inside and outside the walls of the church building.

Jamie and Molly haven been married since 2003 and have three kids – Sam, Autumn, and Evie.  The Thompsons delight in hiking and camping and travelling – they are slowly working their way through the National Parks (55 down, 8 to go!).  Our family enjoys bleacher time cheering on tennis and soccer and dance, and evenings are filled with board games or backyard campfires or binging Survivor.  Jamie finds great joy in reading, deep conversations with friends, morning coffee, and date nights with Molly.

Mike Giebink serves as Associate Pastor for Edgewood’s Waupun campus.  This role includes championing and administrating Life Groups, counseling, providing people care for the congregation, and helping acclimate newcomers, moving them toward greater involvement and membership.  Mike’s ministry passions include helping, counseling and discipling others, expressing mercy toward those in need, encouraging people to trust in Jesus and live for him, and praying for others.  

Mike graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. in elementary education, taught for 11 years, and then was called into ministry.  Many of his initial responsibilities were associated with teaching ministries within the church until he went back to school to get his master’s degree in biblical counseling, which has influenced some of his current ministry responsibilities.  

Mike loves spending time with his wife, Brenda, his children, grandchild, and friends.  His hobbies include biking (the pedal-variety), swimming, plants (indoor and outdoor), baking, being outdoors in nature, and watching cooking shows.  He has a creative side that often demands expression, and he likes to keep things moving at a good pace.  

Kyle serves as the Campus Pastor for the Beaver Dam Campus. His primary responsibilities are pastoral care, overseeing discipleship, life groups, and men’s ministry, along with providing shepherding for the Beaver Dam Campus. Kyle is zealous for the truth of the Gospel and enjoys filling the pulpit any chance he gets.
 
Kyle grew up in McFarland, WI and earned a B.S. in Speech Communications from UW-Oshkosh and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. Kyle has been on staff at Edgewood since 2018, launching the Beaver Dam Campus after serving as the Youth Pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Neenah, WI for 9 years.
 
Kyle and his lovely wife, Megan, have three children: Henry, Charlie, and Addie and golden retriever, Winnie. They love spending time together as a family, camping in their pop-up camper, and going on bike rides. Kyle enjoys discipleship conversations, golfing, campfires, running, and bow hunting.

Timothy and his beautiful wife Christine serve together at the Fond du Lac campus. They both enjoy time hanging out with students, friends, and family. Timothy loves one on one time, playing guitar, and researching the nerdy stuff with technology and theology.

Timothy is what you would call "home grown", first attending Edgewood in Waupun his senior year in High School. After, he attended and completed a three-year discipleship program called Rockford Master's Commission in Rockford, IL. God brought Timothy back to Edgewood where he served in various roles until moving to the Fond du Lac to serve at his now current role over worship and youth.
